SURREY, BC – Russell Brewing has announced the release of two new limited edition beers, one in their Russell Brewmaster Series of eclectic ales, and the other a seasonal release for an upcoming holiday.
Released earlier this month in the Brewmaster Series was Truth Serum Wheat Wine, which is described as follows:
Brewed with 50% Canadian wheat malt and a blend of imported Pilsner and Munich malts. Aggressively hopped with French Strisselspalt and US Columbus hops. At 10% alc/vol this ale is ridiculously smooth and easy to drink.
Following this week in anticipation of St. Patrick’s Day is Luck Of The Irish Red Ale:
As a beer style, this beer is intended to be malt-forward, offering toffee and caramel sweetness which is beautifully balanced by a restrained use of hops. The natural rich red colour comes from the generous use of imported roasted barley and specialty malts. Finishes clean and smooth, leaving you wanting more.
Both beers are available now in 650 ml bottles at select private liquor stores in British Columbia and the Russell Brewing retail store.
