HALIFAX, NS – Garrison Brewing has announced the release of a new beer that appears to have been born from a series of brewery mishaps and misfortunes.
Described on the label as a “damn loose clamp stuck fermentation hop substitution chilling crapped out India Pale Ale,” Ass-Kicker IPA has the following profile and tasting notes provided by the brewery:
Even brewers have bad days & no matter how tasty this unfiltered hop-loaded IPA is, there’s just no way we could ever make it again! Taste the beer that’s so right when everything went so wrong. Unfiltered and hazy, with an earthy and fruity (orange marmalade) aroma, well-balanced hop and malt flavours (not too dry or too sweet). A hint of caramel and a nice clean bitter finish.
Garrison Ass-Kicker IPA is on sale now at the Garrison retail store, and will also be available at private liquor stores in Nova Scotia.
