ST. JACOBS, ON – The Southwestern Ontario village of St. Jacobs is famous as a tourist destination in the area, and starting this summer, one of its newest attractions will be a local brewery.
Block Three Brewing is a new start-up from local beer club members Derek Lebert, Graham Spence, Phil Hipkiss and Bryan Maher, with the latter serving as head brewer.
Located at 1430 King St. N. in St. Jacobs, Block Three will launch with a single year-round brand – style and name still to be decided – and will also produce an ever-changing rotation of seasonals and one-off beers, available in 500 ml bottles and growlers at the brewery, and on draught at select craft beer friendly bars.
Block Three is aiming for a July 1st opening, with more details to be announced on Facebook and Twitter as the date draws closer.
