TORONTO, ON – The organizers of the Session Toronto Craft Beer Festival have announced initial details and launched ticket sales for this year’s 4th annual edition.
Presented as always by the owners of the Griffin Gastropub in Bracebridge, Session Toronto will once again be taking place on the closing weekend of Ontario Craft Beer Week, and will be moving to a new and larger home at the Artscape Wychwood Barns near St. Clair and Christie.
As with last year’s event, tickets will include admission, a sampling glass, entertainment and all beer samples, but no food will be included. Instead, some of Toronto’s top food trucks will be on site with numerous dishes available for purchase.
While the full list of participating breweries has yet to be revealed, one festival feature that has been announced is “Collaboration Nation“, which will see 20 craft breweries paired up with 20 artists and celebrities in various genres to create 20 exclusive beers for Session. Pairings announced so far include Dallas Green & Flying Monkeys Brewery, Royal Wood & Mill Street Brewery, Fearless Fred & Sawdust City Brewing, and Ed The Sock & Amsterdam Brewery.
Session Toronto 2013 will take place on Saturday, June 22nd from 3:00 PM to 9:00 PM. Tickets are $50, and can be ordered now via the event website.
Session Toronto will be the first of three beer festivals to be presented by the Griffin team under the Session umbrella this year, as their events in Muskoka in August and Hastings County in October are being rebranded as Session Muskoka and Session Hastings respectively. Dates and details for these festivals will be announced soon on the Griffin website, Facebook page and Twitter feed.
