ALDERGROVE, BC – Dead Frog Brewery has quickly followed up last month’s release of Valiant Belgian IPA with the announcement of two new beers.
Added to the brewery’s regular line-up is Brazen Northwest Ale, a 7.5% ale that is described as follows:
This dark red ale features an enticing citrus and pine aroma from massive helpings of Simcoe and Columbus. The hop flavour is bold but balanced by a deep, complex malt base with slight hints of caramel that transition to chocolate. The brew is topped off by 81 IBU’s of glorious bitterness.
Coming at the same time is the 10.5% abv Commander Imperial Stout, which was aged for two months in Bourbon-soaked American White Oak as is limited to just 200 cases:
This rich, complex stout features a deep, layered malt profile enhanced by slightly sweet flavours of white oak, molasses, and star anise. All of these flavours combine to create an elaborate Imperial Stout suitable for enjoying today and made for cellaring to be enjoyed down the road.
Both new Dead Frog beers are available now in 650 ml bottles at select liquor stores in British Columbia.
