SAINT JOHN, NB – Moosehead Brewery has announced the launch of a new website and social media hub that brothers and sixth generation owners Andrew and Patrick Oland say is intended to share the “passion for beer” that is “alive and well at Moosehead.”
Dubbed the Moosehead Beer Academy, the website is based around a blog that will cover many aspects of beer and brewing culture. In an introductory post from the Olands, the mission of the site is summed up as follows:
The Moosehead Beer Academy is a platform for sharing authentic stories about the art and science of brewing and the traditions around beer enjoyment. It is where we will share our family history, and take a close look at our own beer-making processes. It is also where we’ll introduce you to others who share our passion – in breweries and kitchens around the world.
The project also includes a Facebook page, Twitter feed and YouTube channel, all of which will feature content complementary to the main website.
