OTTAWA, ON – Kichesippi Beer Co. is marking three year of being in business this weekend, and in a birthday Q&A with Ottawa Magazine beer writer Travis Persaud, owner Paul Meek reveals details on what the brewery has in the works for the foreseeable future.
According to Meek, upcoming plans and developments will include:
- The official launch of the Harvey & Vern’s soda line in May, starting with Cream Soda and Ginger Beer, and followed by Root Beer in the fall.
- The release of Kichesippi 1855 dark ale at the LCBO in six-packs this summer.
- The debut of 500 ml bottles for seasonal releases, starting with Wuchak Black in the winter. These will initially be available exclusively at the Kichesippi retail store, but will also be submitted to be considered for LCBO seasonal beer promotions.
The Kichesippi 3rd Anniversary Party will be taking place at the brewery (866 Campbell Ave, Ottawa) this Sunday April 28th from 12:00 noon to 5:00 PM. It will feature food by Ottawa Streat Gourmet and Pascale’s Icecream, live music and entertainment, and plenty of Kichesippi beer. More details can be found on the Facebook event listing.
