LONDON, ON – After several months of planning and construction, Forked River Brewing is getting set to open its doors to craft beer drinkers in London and area.
Founded by London residents and award winning home brewers David Reed, Andrew Peters and Steve Nazarian, Forked River is located in a 3000 square foot brewery and tasting room at 45 Pacific Court, approximately 7 kilometres east of downtown London.
Kegs of the brewery’s two flagship brands – Capital Blonde (“an easy-drinking, balanced blonde ale full of malt and hop flavour”) and Riptide Rye (“a hop-forward pale ale brewed with Canadian prairie malt”) – will be delivered to local draught accounts tomorrow (June 1st), and the first day of public tastings and sales at the brewery will take place on Saturday June 8th from 11:00 AM to 4:00 PM. Forked River will also be on hand at a number of beer events throughout the summer.
