TORONTO, ON – After many months of planning, construction and renovations, Amsterdam Brewery has announced that its new Amsterdam BrewHouse will be opening on Monday July 1st.
Located at 245 Queens Quay West adjacent to Toronto’s Harbourfront Centre, the 14,000 square foot restaurant and brewery is described as follows in a press release:
The venue can accommodate up to 500 in its rustic urban interior, and offers an additional 300+ on the spacious lakeside patio, for a total capacity of over 800 guests. Situated on the water’s edge, spectacled with a lakeside view and backdrop of Toronto’s iconic skyline, Amsterdam BrewHouse features a bar/lounge, a dining room, several patios, a state of the art AV system, authentic wood burning oven, a working craft brewery and full retail store.
On-site brewing will be overseen by Amsterdam head brewer Iain McOustra, who will be crafting many limited edition and one-off beers that will be available in the restaurant and the retail store. The store will also offer the full range of Amsterdam brands in various formats along with other merchandise.
For the food program, executive chef Avaughn Wells has developed a menu of “contemporary dishes that use fresh, local ingredients,” with many dishes designed to pair with specific Amsterdam beers.
Amsterdam BrewHouse will be open 7 days a week as of July 1st. For more details, see the full press release, and watch for updates on the Amsterdam BrewHouse website and Twitter feed.
