TORONTO, ON – The flurry of Ontario breweries getting their product into cans and onto LCBO shelves continues this week with the arrival of the flagship brand from Hogtown Brewers, a contract brewing operation that produces beer out of the Cool Brewing facility in Etobicoke.
Hogtown Ale was debuted in early 2012 as a draught product, and is a Kölsch-style golden ale described as having “a noticeable but not overbearing hops presence and a middle-of-the-road alcohol content of 5%.”
Hogtown Ale is now available at select LCBO locations in 473 ml cans retailing for $2.75.
