TORONTO, ON – A beer festival that debuted to much acclaim in Toronto last summer is returning for a second instalment next month.
Set once again in the picturesque Roundhouse Park next to the historic railway roundhouse that Steam Whistle Brewing calls home, the Roundhouse Craft Beer Festival will take place on Saturday August 10th and Sunday August 11th, 2013 from 12:00 noon to 7:00 PM each day.
The brewery line-up will feature 15 members of the Ontario Craft Brewers, including King Brewery, Wellington Brewery, Nickel Brook Brewing, Mill St. Brewery, Grand River Brewing, Black Oak Brewing, Great Lakes Brewery, Left Field Brewery, Hogsback Brewing, Amsterdam Brewery, Beau’s All Natural Brewing, Flying Monkeys Craft Brewery, Lake of Bays Brewing, Neustadt Springs Brewery and Steam Whistle.
Complementing the beer will be food from some of Ontario’s top food trucks including The Rome ‘N Chariot, Dobro Jesti, Localista, Hogtown Smoke, Drity South Truck, Canuck Pizza Truck, The Food Dudes and Pizza Settecento.
Sampling glasses for the Roundhouse Craft Beer Festival can be reserved now for $10 advance via the website or can be purchased for $15 at the gate. The glass allows entry on both days of the Festival, with beer sampling tickets available on site for $1 each, and food offered at various prices. Proceeds from the event will go to benefit the Toronto Rail Heritage Museum.
Hopefully the food trucks actually show up this time :-P
