EDMONTON, AB – Alley Kat Brewery has announced that a beer introduced earlier this year as a spring & summer seasonal has proven to be so popular that it’s been given a place in the brewery’s year-round line-up.
Summer Squeeze Grapefruit Ale was described as follows when it was first released in March:
This medium gold ale has the aroma of freshly squeezed grapefruit and a flavour that is a perfect balance between grapefruit and citrus. “We had a tough task in creating a brew that could capture that refreshing quality we were looking for and be something that could grab the attention and taste buds of all beer fans. We tested a number of different recipes, but once we tried the grapefruit ale, we knew we had something really special,” says Alley Kat Brewery owner Neil Herbst. “Summer Squeeze Grapefruit Ale will definitely be a patio mainstay this summer.”
Summer Squeeze will remain available throughout the year in 341 ml bottles at the Alley Kat retail store and select liquor stores in Alberta.
