CALGARY, AB – Wild Rose Brewery has announced the release of its version of an increasingly popular hybrid beer style as a new seasonal.
White Shadow White IPA is described as follows:
White Shadow refers to the unique magic that happens when we combine two great styles – the refreshing spiciness of a Belgian style wheat beer with the bold hopiness of a North American IPA. Our White IPA is brewed with Pilsner malt, wheat malt and oats, and spiced with sweet orange peel, corinader and chamomile. A serious charge of Cascade and Columbus hops give the beer a nice citrusy bitterness. A Belgian yeast strain is left unfiltered to lend notes of clove and bitter fruit to the flavour, and a shadow to the golden hue. Because wild things can happen in the shadows.
White Shadow While IPA is available now in 650 ml bottles at the Wild Rose retail store, and will be distributed to select liquor stores in Alberta.
