ST. THOMAS, ON – Railway City Brewing has announced the return of its annual anniversary beer this week, but with a couple of changes from previous editions.
This year’s version of Double Dead Elephant Ale sees a boost in both alcohol (7.5% abv) and bitterness (90 IBUs), making it a true Double IPA. And as always, it’s been brewed using fresh locally picked hops from Vandelsyke Farm, which is located about 15 minutes to the east of the brewery.
The first taste of this year’s Double Dead Elephant will be offered during a Thursday Night Release event at the brewery on September 19th, and it will subsequently be available in 750 ml bottles at the Railway City retail store. For more details, see the Railway City Facebook page and Twitter feed.
