PARRY SOUND, ON – Ontario beer news website Mom ‘n’ Hops reports that a bowling alley in Parry Sound has started brewing several house beers.
Georgian Lanes offers three year-round beers to bowlers – Seguin Trail Cream Ale (5.5% abv) and 5 Pin Light Lager (4.5% abv) were launched in mid-June, followed in July by Devil’s Elbow Red Ale (5% abv). In addition, owner and brewer Chris McDonald has just tapped the brewery’s first seasonal brand, The Great Pumpkin, a 6.5% abv maple pumpkin IPA.
Georgian Lanes beers are available to enjoy on-site for $4.50 per mug or $15 per pitcher alongside a menu of reasonably priced pub grub, and in growlers for take-home sales.
For more details, see the Georgian Lanes wesbite, Facebook page and Twitter feed.
You can only drink their beer at the bowling alley – no take home sales permitted.
