NOBLETON, ON – King Brewery has announced the return of a limited edition autumn seasonal that draws inspiration from two classic brewing traditions.
King Pilsbock is described by brewmaster Phil Difonzo as follows:
King Pilsbock delivers the best qualities of 2 well known lagers, a Czech Pilsner and a German Helles. German Helles bocks are gold colored malty 6- 7 % alc. lagers. The influences of King Brewery’s award winning hoppy and citrusy Pilsner result in a deep amber/gold 6.5% alc. Saaz hoppy Bock style lager. Its sweet bready malt flavour is enhanced by the Bock like fruity alcohol. The Saaz hops add a spicy, herbal flavour and aroma. It all comes together into an interesting and very unique Canadian Craft Autumn festive beer.
King Pilsbock is available now in 341 bottles at the King Brewery retail store, and on draught at select bars and restaurants, while supplies last.
