VICTORIA, BC – Phillips Brewing has announced the winning organization that will receive the proceeds from the brewery’s Benefit Brew 2013.
Getting the nod via online voting was Little People of BC, an organization that is described as follows:
We are a little organization. An organization for little people. Little people of BC wants to bring awareness to the public about dwarfism! With limited resources we provide services to our members and their families. Awareness, education, social, emotional and medical support, these are our goals. Our members may be small in stature, but we have big hearts and big dreams.
Phillips will be brewing a Blood Orange Witbier to be released in January, with full proceeds to be donated to Little People of BC.
In addition, Phillips will be donating $500 to each of the other nine finalists that were on the Benefit Brew 2013 shortlist.
