ST. THOMAS, ON – Railway City Brewing has announced that this year’s batch of its holiday seasonal beer will be released later this week, with a few tweaks from the version released in previous years.
Cranberry Festive Lager is replacing Cranberry Pilsner in the annual rotation, with the new beer – a lager brewed with Ontario grown cranberries, ginger and orange peel zest – featuring higher alcohol (5.5% vs 4.7% abv), and slightly lower bitterness (26 vs 30 IBU).
This year’s edition of Cranberry Festive Lager will debut this Thursday December 12th at the latest Thursday Night Release Event, a series of beer release and tasting events that take place at the Railway City brewery. The $5 admission price includes samples of Cranberry Festive Lager and other beers. Email info@railwaycitybrewing.com to reserve a spot.
Following the launch event, Railway City Cranberry Festive Lager will be available in 500 ml bottles at the brewery store, and on draught at select pubs and restaurants in Southern Ontario.
