CHAMBLY, QC – Unibroue has announced the return of two of its best loved beers to LCBO locations in Ontario – one an annual vintage ale, and the other a classic selection from the brewery’s core line-up.
Unibroue 17 Grande Réserve is a dark Belgian-style ale aged with French oak and bottle refermented. First released in 2007 to mark Unibroue’s 17th anniversary, it returned in 2011, and is now offered in a limited edition each year. The 2013 vintage is available at select LCBO locations in 750 ml corked bottles for $12.95.
Returning to the LCBO on a full-time basis is La Fin du Monde, a multiple award winning Belgian Tripel that reaches its 20th anniversary next February.
Described as having a “floral bouquet, aromas of honey, spice, coriander, malt, and alcohol,” and a “mildly yeasty (flavour) with a complex palate of malt, fruit and spice notes,” La Fin du Monde will retail for $12.95 per four-pack of 341 ml bottles.
