GRAVENHURST, ON – Visitors to the Muskoka Brewery retail store this past weekend were treated to an early Christmas gift, as the brewery gave customers the chance to pick up bottles of a brand new beer before its official launch.
Muskoka Detour is a 4.3% abv ale described as a “sessionable IPA” with a “rewarding aroma and big hop flavours.”
Detour will have a wider roll out soon, starting with a draught release at select bars and pubs, and followed by retail sales via the LCBO and Beer Store.
How can they call it an IPA when its starting and final gravities are not to style. This may very well be a fantastic beer; but to call it an IPA is misleading. A hopped up standard bitter may be more accurate.
