VICTORIA, BC – Phillips Brewing has announced the release of a pair of competition winning brews – one which supports a worthy charity, and the other honouring the winner of a local homebrewing competition.
The first is this year’s installment in Phillips’ annual Benefit Brew series. As selected via voting late last year, proceeds from the sale of Blood Orange Wit will benefit Little People of BC, an organization that provides support and builds awareness for persons affected by dwarfism.
The other new beer is Glen Marshall American IPA, brewed from a recipe created by the eponymous homebrewer who was named “King of the Carboy” at the 2013 CAMRA Victoria Amateur Brewing Competition.
Both beers will be available for a limited time at select private liquor stores in Victoria and the Lower Mainland. They will also be available to taste on draught at the Phillips Brewery on Thursday January 23rd from 4:00 to 6:00 PM.
