SHELBURNE, NS – Less than a year after opening on Nova Scotia’s south shore, Boxing Rock Brewing has announced the arrival of some new equipment than will dramatically increase production at the brewery.
As reported last week in the Yarmouth County Vangard, Boxing Rock has installed a 34-hectolitre fermentation tank purchased from PEI’s Diversified Metal Engineering. Added to the previously existing 17-hectolitre brewhouse and four fermentation tanks, this new arrival will increase production capacity by 50%.
“We have had a great response from the market to our products – both the bottled product we distribute through the NSLC and private wine stores and our kegs,” says Henry Pedro, co-founder of Boxing Rock. “This expansion will allow us to make more of our three year-round products while keeping up with demand for new, innovative seasonal brews.”
