CHICAGO, IL – The Cicerone Certification Program, the world’s leading certification program for beer professionals, has announced the launch of new exams and study material for the Canadian market.
Modified with input from Toronto-based Master Cicerone Mirella Amato, the new Canada-specific syllabi and exams will apply to the first two levels of Cicerone certification, Certified Beer Server and Certified Cicerone. Changes from the original US version include localized details about drinking age and alcohol distribution, as well as some aspects of beer style descriptions.
All Cicerone exams held in Canada after March 1st, 2014 will follow the updated syllabi.
