VANKLEEK HILL, ON – Beau’s All Natural Brewing is kicking of the fourth week of this year’s edition of FeBREWary – a month of beer launches and events from the brewery – with the release today (February 20th) of the latest installment in the brewery’s Wild Oats series of experimental and one-off beers.
Collabrrrewnaut is an espresso-infused Pilsner created in collaboration with Ottawa’s Bridgehead Coffee. This unique hybrid is described as follows:
Collabrrrewnaut has an herbal, spicy noble hop aroma, with a subtle yet ever-present espresso note that lingers like the scent of coffee in a busy Czech café. The beer possesses a mild bitterness, with a clean dry finish. Restrained nuances courtesy of the coffee suggest dried figs, nutty richness and chocolate as they intermingle with the classic Pilsner style.
Collabrrrewnaut is available starting today in the Beau’s brewery retail store and BYBO delivery service, and on tap at more than 100 participating bars and pubs across Ontario.
A cask-conditioned version of Collabrrrewnaut will be tapped at Beau’s tomorrow (Friday February 21st) at 2:00 PM, and a full-scale “Local Food & Beer” themed launch event for the beer featuring giveaways, samples, and food pairings by chef Bruce Wood will be happening at the brewery on Saturday February 22nd.
For more details on this and other events and releases, see the FeBREWary page on the Beau’s website.
