VICTORIA, BC – Swans Hotel & Brewery has announced the return of an annual early spring seasonal that pays tribute to the man responsible for several of Victoria’s best known buildings.
Named after Francis Rattenbury, the architect of British Columbia’s Parliament Buildings and The Empress Hotel in Victoria, Rattenbury’s Red Ale is described as having “a malt focus flavour, a redwood hue, and a sweet finish with caramel notes.”
This year’s edition of Rattenbury’s Red Ale is being launched today (Thursday March 6th) with complementary tasters and nibbles in the brewpub from 5:30 to 6:30 PM. It will be available 650 ml bottles at the Swans Beer & Wine Shoppe, and for growler fills in the brewpub.
