VICTORIA, BC – Driftwood Brewery and Hoyne Brewing have announced the release of a new collaborative beer, the creation of which took advantage of exceptionally close proximity of the two breweries.
Named after the area of Victoria in which both Driftwood and Hoyne are located, Rock Bay Mash-Up is a 8% abv Baltic Porter that is described as follows:
Craft brewers everywhere work together to spread the joy that is craft beer. Many collaborations have sprung from this spirit of fellowship, but not many breweries share the same parking lot! Rock Bay Mash Up is the product of Driftwood & Hoyne brewing the same recipe, then combining the brews by running a hose across the parking lot! Two brewers; competitors yes, but allies even more!
Rock Bay Mash-Up is available now in both Driftwood and Hoyne editions – same beer, different labels – at select private liquor stores in B.C. while supplies last.
