SASKATOON, SK – Prairie Sun Brewery has announced details of a new beer that is being released to raise awareness and funds for the Meewasin Trail, a series of walking and cycling trails along the banks of the Meewasin River in and around Saskatoon.
Meewasin 80 White Ale is described as follows:
Meewasin 80 White Ale is an exclusive brew with a unique local flair, custom brewed by Prairie Sun Brewery to celebrate the fact that the complete trail system in and around Saskatoon will soon total 80 kilometres! They are making beer history by putting live spruce and pine from the Meewasin Trail directly into the beer.
Prairie Sun will be holding a launch party for Meewasin 80 on Thursday March 27th at the brewery, with proceeds to benefit the Meewasin Matters Campaign. Admission will be limited to 80 tickets at $80 each, and attendees will enjoy Prairie Sun beer, food from Congress Beer House, live entertainment and more.
