VICTORIA, BC – Lighthouse Brewing has announced that the name of its popular Switchback IPA must be changed due to an unspecified “naming conflict,” and is looking to fans of Facebook to help find a new moniker.
From now until March 31st, those who “like” the Lighthouse Brewing page on Facebook can submit new name suggestions via a contest app. According to the terms and conditions, the suggestions “cannot contain “switch” in the name, but can use “back” with preference given to downhill mountain biking related ideas/terminology.”
The winning entry will be awarded a $200 Lighthouse gift card, and secondary prizes will be awarded to runners-up.
