ST. THOMAS, ON – Railway City Brewing has announced a slightly early return for its now annual summer seasonal.
The Witty Traveller is a 4.5% abv spiced wheat beer that has the following tasting notes:
The Witty Traveller’s tale opens with a potpourri of spices and fruit – sweet anise seed and subtle orange rind. As you delve deeper into the libation you discover clove and bananas alongside soft and sweet arrowroot biscuit with a short layover of bubble-gum before cleansing fresh-pepper and gingersnap.
This year’s edition of the beer will be debuted this Thursday April 10th at Railway City’s monthly Thursday Night Release event, taking place at the brewery starting at 7:00 PM. The $5 admission includes samples of The Witty Traveller and several other Railway City beers. Only 60 spots are available, and those interested in attending should email info@railwaycitybrewing.com to check on reservation availability.
Following the release event, The Witty Traveller will be available in bottles at the Railway City retail store, with a wider roll-out to select LCBO locations to follow in May.
