POWELL RIVER, BC – Townsite Brewing has announced the upcoming release of a new beer that has been created exclusively for the 2014 edition of International Choral Kathaumixw, a biennial choral festival taking place in Powell River on July 1st to 5th.
Described as a “West Coast Bière de Garde,” the Kathaumixw beer will be previewed this Friday April 11th at the Red Lion Pub (2987 Lund St., Powell River).
Advance tickets for the preview event are available at the Red Lion and the Powell River Academy of Music for $13, which includes admission, a burger and a pint of the new beer.
Kathaumixw has also been named as the April charity partner for Townsite’s Growler Program, and will receive a donation of $1 for each growler fill purchased at the brewery this month.
