DENVER, CO – The winners of the 2014 edition of the biannual World Beer Cup were announced this past weekend in Denver as part of the closing event of this year’s Craft Brewers Conference. Presented by the Brewers Association, the competition featured 4,754 beers from 1,403 breweries representing 58 countries.
Among the 94 style categories, Canadian breweries were honoured with 7 of the 281 medals that were awarded, including the following:

Category 23: Wood- and Barrel-Aged Sour Beer
