PELHAM, ON – The Welland Tribune reports that twin brothers Asa and Colton Proveau are getting set to launch the aptly named Brothers Brewing in the town of Pelham in Ontario’s Niagara Region.
The 21-year-olds are currently brewing under contract at the Niagara College Teaching Brewery where Asa has taken the Brewmaster and Brewery Management Program, and the first of their beers – Tandem Pale Ale, described by Asa as “crafty but with more of an approachable style” – will be launched this Saturday April 19th at Iggy’s Pub & Grub in Pelham’s Fonthill neighbourhood. This will be followed by a rotating series of beers to be available at Iggy’s, with a new beer planned to be put on tap every two weeks.
In the longer term, the brothers are also planning to open their own brewing facility in Pelham, with a Kickstarter campaign now underway to help raise funds for the project.
