BAYSVILLE, ON – Ten months after being named the official brewing partner of the NHL Alumni Association, Ontario’s Lake of Bays Brewing has entered into a similar partnership with the CFL Alumni Association, an organization that provides support for former players from the Canadian Football League.
Announced this past weekend during a meet-and-greet with several retired CFL stars at the brewery in Baysville, the new partnership will see Lake of Bays develop and release a series of football-themed beers in collaboration with the CFLAA, with a portion of proceeds going to benefit the CFLAA Player Support Fund which assists former players and their families.
“We are excited to have entered into a partnership with a craft brewery in general and with Lake of Bays in particular,” said Leo Ezerins, executive director of the CFLAA, in a statement. “This is going to be an exciting and fun experience for us, and for beer-loving football fans.”
Further details of partnership and the beers that will be released have yet to be announced, but information will be posted to the Lake of Bays news site as it becomes available.
