SAULT STE. MARIE, ON – OutSpoken Brewing, the first brewery to operate in Sault Ste. Marie since the closure of Northern Breweries in 2006, has announced that it will be debuting it’s first two brands at the Sault Ste. Marie Festival of Beer this coming weekend.
The flagship duo – OutSpoken Blonde Ale and Rabbit’s Foot IPA – are described as follows:
OutSpoken Blonde Ale (ABV 4.5%, IBU 24) – This light bodied beauty is a true classic…but this ain’t your grandaddy’s beer. Available year-round, our non-traditional blonde ale has a nice, balanced flavour profile with a hint of earthy bitterness resulting from the German style hops. OutSpoken Blonde Ale is refreshing start to finish and a perfect compliment to a warm summer day or cool winter’s eve.
Rabbit’s Foot IPA (ABV 5.5%, IBU 40.4) – This rabbit’s foot has hop! An India Pale Ale accessible to all imbibers. A healthy addition of hops imparts a resinous nose that floods the mouth before mellowing out into smooth malty caramel goodness.
The Sault Ste. Marie Festival of Beer will be taking place on Friday April 25th and Saturday April 26th at the Canadian Bushplane Heritage Centre. Tickets are available online and at several locations in Sault Ste. Marie.
