CALGARY, AB – Village Brewery has announced details of a new beer that will be debuted this week in a new variety pack that’s being launched just in time for the arrival of warmer weather.
Village Maiden India Session Ale is a hop-forward pale ale that is described as follows:
She’s as alluring as she is fleeting. She teases us with crisp citrus scents, whispering secrets of fragrant hops from faraway lands. She’s certainly not an iron maiden you’ll find with the motley crew assembled in our Village Square this spring and summer. She’s a fair Maiden – a hoppy sessional India Ale with a low 4.6% alcohol content that will extend your time on the patio. Those citrus floral notes are no accident. They come from a beautiful combination of Centennial, Cascade and Zythos Hops as well as very special Waimea Hops brought in from New Zealand specifically for our Maiden.
Village Maiden will be available alongside three other Village brands – Blonde, Blacksmith and Wit – in the Village Square Summer Variety Pack, a new mixed 12 pack featuring artwork by local artist Mandy Stobo. The Village Square package will be launched tomorrow (May 7th) at the brewery, and will be available soon at select liquor stores in Calgary and area.
