OTTAWA, ON – The Ottawa Citizen reports that the Clocktower Brew Pub has created a new and exclusive beer to be poured alongside the flagship Clocktower Kolsch at this weekend’s Ottawa ComicCon.
KA-POW! Pale Ale is described by Clocktower brewmaster – and comic book fan – Patrick Fiori as “a very sessionable, well balanced, dry pale ale with citrus undertones.”
Along with the new beer, Clocktower is also debuting a new promotional poster featuring the Bruise Master, a steampunk-inspired superhero created in collaboration with local artists Tom Fowler and Jordie Bellaire. According to Fiori, they plan to create a full length comic featuring the Bruise Master (a play on “brewmaster”) battling the evil Overpour, and will offer it at the 2015 edition of ComicCon.
KA-POW! will be available in the licensed areas of Ottawa ComicCon this weekend (May 9th to 11th).
