BURNABY, BC – Belgian-inspired brewery Dageraad Brewing has announced the release of its first beer, as well as details of its next releases and plans for a grand opening party.
On tap this week at several establishments – including Tangent Cafe, BierCraft and the Alibi Room – is Dageraad Beta, a limited pilot batch version of one of the brewery’s flagship beers.
Following soon will be Dageraad’s two signature brands, Dageraad Amber and Dageraad Blonde:
Dageraad Amber is a flavourful, balanced Belgian pale ale with an enticing aroma and a crisp finish. This beer was inspired by the experience of enjoying a fresh bolleke − Antwerp locals’ affectionate nickname for a glass of De Koninck − in the Dageraadplatz, a stone’s throw from De Koninck’s brewery.
Dageraad Blonde, the pride of our brewery, is a complex medium-dry Belgian blonde ale brewed with a secret blend of spices. The flavour of noble hops and subtly nutty pilsner malt complete our take on a classic Belgian style.
The launch of Dageraad will be officially marked with a party on July 19th at Tangent Cafe (2095 Commercial Drive, Vancouver) where the beer will be accompanied by “a special Belgian-inspired menu and music by the fantastic gypsy swing band Van Django.”
