TORONTO, ON – The Canadian Amateur Brewers Association (CABA) has announced details for this year’s Great Canadian Homebrew Conference (GCHC), taking place on June 21st, 2014 at The Rhino in Toronto.
Highlights of GCHC 2014 will include:
- Guest speaker Ian Coutts, author of the recently released book The Perfect Keg: Sowing, Scything, Malting and Brewing My Way to the Best Ever Pint of Beer
- A technical presentation and discussion by Dr. Ian Johnson, veteran homebrewer and member of the Master Brewers Association of the Americas.
- A feature discussion on hops.
- Awards presentation for the 2014 Great Canadian Homebrew Competition.
The day will also include a homebrewing demonstration on the Rhino patio, snacks, beer samples and more.
