SURREY, BC – Russell Brewing has announced a new addition to the Russell Brewmaster Series of premium craft beers that borrows the name and hop profile of an earlier limited release, but with a considerable reduction in both alcohol and bitterness to create a more sessionable beer.
Hop Therapy India Session Ale checks in at 4.5% abv and 35 IBU, versus the 9% abv and 100 IBU of its predecessor, Hop Therapy Double IPA. The new beer is described as follows:
Russell Brewing Hop Therapy India Session Ale is a hop forward ale but with a lower alcohol level so you can savour all that superb flavor over a longer session. “Like our Double IPA, also named Hop Therapy, we’re using the same hops so as to create the similar flavor profile” states Scott Bohanan our Head R&D brewer. Like the Hop Therapy DIPA, our ISA is crafted for you to enjoy the seductive Amarillo, Cascade and Columbus hops. It’s the refreshing hop remedy you’ve been searching for.
Russell Hop Therapy ISA is available now in six-packs of cans at liquor stores throughout British Columbia.
