VICTORIA, BC – Driftwood Brewery has announced the release of its first ever lager as a new limited edition beer.
Pilsner Doehnel – named after local artisan maltster Mike Doehnel who grew and malted the barley used in the beer – is described as a “dry, snappy North German-style Pils (that) was lagered for 6 weeks and hopped generously.”
Pilsner Doehnel is being released today (June 9th), and will be available at select private liquor stores in British Columbia while supplies last.
