SASKATOON, SK – Great Western Brewing has announced details of a relaunch of its three flagship brands, including new branding, new recipes and a new commitment to using locally sourced ingredients.
Brand new in the line-up is Great Western Classic – replacing Great Western Lager – which is described as “a crisp and flavourful full-bodied beauty with smooth taste and finish.”
Keeping its name but getting a new recipe is Great Western Light, which “drinks easy and packs all the flavour you’d expect from a regular beer.”
Unchanged except for its branding is Great Western Pilsner, “a well-balanced drink packed with delicious prairie flavour.”
All three brands are now made with 100% Saskatchewan-malted barley, and are being marketed toward “hard-working Prairie beer drinkers that are proud of their roots, their community, and have a passion to support local.”
The relaunched brands are being rolled out now, and will be available soon at SLGA locations throughout the province.
