CALGARY, AB – Big Rock Brewery has announced the addition of two new varieties to its Rock Creek Cider line-up, with both of them appearing alongside the original in a new variety pack.
Rock Creek Apple Cider is joined by Rock Creek Cherry Cider and Rock Creek Pear Cider in the six-pack sampler, with the trio having the following tasting notes:
Rock Creek Apple Cider – Based on a traditional European recipe, the real difference is in the apples themselves. The four varietals used in this cider are grown exclusively in the Okanagan, Western Canada’s fruit orchard. This cider is gently spiced with flavours like vanilla and cinnamon to compliment the apples.
Rock Creek Cherry Cider – Cherries are nature’s way of letting you know your taste buds are alive. So when this cider variety pack was envisioned, cherries made their way to the top of the list. A wonderful pink colour complements the complex flavour of the Okanagan Montmorency cherries that were used.
Rock Creek Pear Cider – While we use all our knowledge and experience to make a light, bubbly, clear oasis of refreshment, the Okanagan’s best Bartlett pears do the hard work in this cider. Big Rock’s Pear Cider pours a pale yellow and offers aromas of sweet pear.
The Rock Creek Cider Variety Pack will be available in Alberta, British Columbia, Saskatchewan and Manitoba while quantities last.
