BRANTFORD, ON – Following closely on the LCBO launch of its flagship Eureka Cream Ale, the year-old Bell City Brewing has released a second core brand.
As reported by Brant News, the new beer – Lenoir Belgian Ale – follows Eureka in taking inspiration from an iconic inventor, with a name borrowed from Etienne Lenoir, the Belgian inventor of the internal combustion engine.
The 6.5% abv Lenoir was tapped for the first time last Saturday at Zander’s Fire Grill and Brew Lounge in Brantford, and is described by Bell City’s Dennis Marijan as a “very classic Belgian beer, golden in colour with fruit aromas.”
Lenoir will initially be a draught-only product, and will be available at select pubs and restaurants in Brantford and elsewhere in Ontario.
