VANCOUVER, BC – The Donnelly Group, a collective of bars, pubs and other venues in Vancouver, has announced the 2nd annual 30 Days of IPA, a promotion that will be running at many of its locations in August.
From August 1st to 30th, 10 Donnelly establishments – Library Square, The Lamplighter, The Butcher & Bullock, The Bimini, Cinema, The New Oxford, The Blackbird, The Three Brits, Granville Room and Clough Club – will have several taps dedicated to India Pale Ales, with a new IPA debuting at one of the venues each day.
The full list of participating breweries has yet to be announced, but may be posted soon on the Donnelly Group website or the various pub Facebook pages when available.
Admittedly I only tried one venue last year, but I found this one to be a bust. I showed up for a very specific IPA at a Donnolley establishment I don’t normally frequent, and they informed me the beer I was after had been tapped the night before the date that was announced on their site.
