VANCOUVER, BC – Granville Island Brewing has announced the relaunch of one of its core brands under a new name, a change that also sees it aligned with a recently added brand as part of a new series.
Previously known as Robson Street Hefeweizen, the newly dubbed Hey Day Hefeweizen is described as follows:
Look back, look forward. Look to our Island, where this brilliant Hefe was born. This classic wheat ale is cloudy, crisp and dry, with aromas of banana and clove – great with brunch, patios, and bright dispositions. Let it shine.
Along with Swing Span Amber Ale – a new beer launched this past May – Hey Day is part of the Under The Bridge series of beers that celebrate the 30 year history of the brewery, as well as the history of the area of Vancouver that it calls home.
The new Hey Day branding was unveiled earlier this summer with the launch of 473 ml cans, and the updated name and look has now been rolled out to the bottle and draught formats.
