TORONTO, ON – Organizer Mirella Amato has announced that the fifth – and apparently final – annual edition of Toronto Beer Quest will be taking place next month as part of Toronto Beer Week 2014.
Described as “a scavenger hunt in downtown Toronto that challenges participants to use their brains and smartphones in addition to their feet for a chance to win some prizes,” and “an adventurous way for Torontonians to experience the Toronto beer scene through fun and strategy,” this year’s Quest will take place on Sunday September 14th, with check-in starting at 11:00 AM at the Charlotte Room (19 Charlotte St., Toronto).
Prizes from from a variety of sponsors will be awarded at the finish line, and there will also be a parallel competition to design, name and co-brew a new seasonal beer at the Mill Street Brewpub.
Early-bird registrations of $30 per team of two can be made online until August 25th, after which the regular price of $40 per team will go into effect. For more details, see the Toronto Beer Quest Facebook page.
