TORONTO, ON – The 2014 edition of Toronto Beer Week kicks off tomorrow (September 12th), and while there will be dozens – or even hundreds – of different beers available at the events that will be taking place all over the city until September 20th, one beer is likely to be popping up more frequently than the rest.
TBW Farmhouse Ale – the official beer of Toronto Beer Week 2014 – was created by Amsterdam Brewery, and is described as a “Farmhouse style ale brewed using Brett yeast and dry-hopped with Galaxy hops, playing the fresh Galaxy hop flavours off of the earthier, funkier Brett flavours.”
A preview keg of TBW Farmhouse Ale will be on tap tonight (September 11th) at the Premium Beer Experience, a de facto pre-party for Toronto Beer Week that will feature new and one-off beers from many local breweries. The official release of the beer will take place tomorrow during a TBW media event at Amsterdam BrewHouse, and it will be available at various TBW events and select craft beer bars in Toronto while supplies last.
