OTTAWA, ON – The Ottawa Beer Events blog reports that the newest brewery in the National Capital Region will be opening its doors to the public for the first time this weekend.
Bicycle Craft Brewery is being launched by Fariborz & Laura Behzadi at 850 Industrial Ave. in Ottawa, and will be offering four beers to start – Velocipede India Pale Ale (“hoppy and bitter with floral and pine aromas”), Base Camp Oatmeal Porter (“dark and warming with hints of biscuit, caramel and dark chocolate”), Belle River Blonde (“light, crisp and refreshing – well-balanced and easy on the palate”) and Abyss Chocolate Stout (“dark, full-bodied with hints of cocoa and chocolate malt”).
All of the beers will be on tap to sample in the brewery tasting room for $3.50 per 12 oz glass, and growlers & half growlers will be available for take-home purchase. The tasting room also features artwork by local artists Elena Nogaeva and Carolyne Smith.
Bicycle Craft Brewery will be open Saturday September 20th from 11:00 AM to 7:00 PM, and Sunday September 21st from 12:00 noon to 4:00 PM. For more details, see the brewery’s Facebook page.
