BRANTFORD, ON – Brant News reports that a new nano-brewery is currently under construction in Artisans’ Village, a former industrial site in Brantford, Ontario that is being redeveloped as a district for independent artists and artisans.
Mash Paddle Brewing is being founded by husband and wife Teddy & Nicole Scholten and their friend Matty Buzanko, with the latter serving as head brewer.
According to the article:
The 3,000-square-foot space will be the brewing grounds for four flagship beers including a traditional dark beer, a standard pale ale, an India Pale Ale and a stout. Seasonal beers will also be available and could include flavours like pumpkin spice in the winter and a cherry or peach infusion in the summer brewed using fruit from local farmers.
Mash Paddle is expected to open in January, and will feature a tasting room serving glasses and samples to try on-site, as well as bottles for take home sales, and kegs for local bars and restaurants.
