HAMILTON, ON – Garden Brewers – a recently launched contract brewery in Hamilton, Ontario – has announced plans for “an evening of craft beer and food pairings to celebrate this year’s autumn harvest.”
Co-presented by Sonic Unyon and Because Beer, the Garden Brewers Harvest Party will be taking place at Mills Hardware (95 King St. E., Hamilton) on Thursday October 30th from 6:00 to 10:00 PM.
The brewery’s flagship beer, Piperales – a smoked amber ale infused with black peppercorns – will be available in its original form as well as versions infused with coffee and pumpkin pie spices, and a unique “Hot Piper” cocktail made with warm wort and whiskey will also be served.
Food pairings for all four drinks will be provided by chef Shane McCartney of local deli and caterers McCartney and Son, and beans for the coffee-infused version of Piperales have been sourced from Homegrown Hamilton café and roastery.
Admission to the event is free, with tickets for an optional tasting package that includes all four drink and food pairings available for $30 online. Additional single pints of Piperales will be available at the bar for $5 each.
